Training Space

The Lawrence County Learning Center boasts newly-remodeled space that includes two (2) classrooms, (each accommodating up to 25 people), and a computer lab with 18 workstations. The center is centrally-located in downtown New Castle and provides comfortable and convenient space for your training needs in a safe and professional environment -- all at no cost to you.

Our modern, spacious and attractive facility provides the perfect space for an off-site meeting. Consider collaborating with your business peers to leverage resources in our secure environment.

Resources for Training Providers

The Lawrence County Learning Center is one of several Community Education Councils (CECs) in Pennsylvania. CECs provide an essential framework for the Northern Pennsylvania Regional College’s delivery model. Over 1 million rural Pennsylvanians depend on CECs for access to education and training.

Computer Lab

The Lawrence County Learning Center boasts newly-remodeled space that includes two (2) classrooms, (each accommodating up to 25 people), and a computer lab with 18 workstations. High-speed wifi enables virtual, convenient training options.

Resources for Individuals

Select the option that is most convenient for you — either in-person or online classes. One on one tutoring is available in some cases too.

In-Person Classes

Convenient in-person classes offered in such areas as GED test prep, reading and math assessment, English as a Second Language, (ESL), and Seniors for Safe Driving. Additional classes are coming soon. Visit our website for updates.

Online Courses

Given current circumstances, we offer many courses virtually, including Reasoning Through Language Arts, Social Studies and Science, (RLA), Math 2 and Math 3. Visit our website for updates.

Our modern computer lab features 15 laptops for personal or classroom use.
